Legal Empowerment equips witnesses and non-lawyers to navigate the justice system and communicate effectively within it. We are the exclusive Australasian licensee of Bond Solon’s witness familiarisation and expert witness skills training programmes, all of which are adapted for the legal environments in Australia and New Zealand.
Bond Solon has been the leading provider of expert witness training and CPD in the UK for 30 years, with tens of thousands of experts, professional bodies, government organisations and specialist organisations attending its programmes. Its Annual Conference is the UK’s largest gathering of expert witnesses.
Our witness skills training is equally valuable for professionals who may be questioned in challenging or high‑pressure settings, such as appearances before Select Committees or Senate hearings, or when presenting to directors at AGMs.
Our public workshops are delivered in virtual classrooms, while customised workshops can be provided either online or in person.
All sessions are led by experienced litigators who are also skilled trainers. We avoid lecture-style delivery I'm favour of highly interactive, practical learning which maximises delegate participation. . This approach ensures our training is engaging, memorable, and tailored to the needs of each client.
Our work supports the integrity of the justice system by improving the quality of evidence and the experience of witnesses, parties and other stakeholders in court processes.
Legal Empowerment was founded by Nikki Pender, a barrister at Kate Sheppard Chambers who has studied and practised law in New Zealand and Sydney.
